The Smoking Hearts converged on George Street in 2007, in the heart of backwoods England. Their raucous punk n' roll sound recalls "The Ramones" on heat playing "Motorhead". The blueprint expanded stunt guitar solos matched with a breakneck garage metal backbone and guttural vocal howls.
The Smoking Hearts" focus remains fixed on the stars, not the gutter. They"re providing a call to arms for those who want to do something with their lives, even if that something is just having a good time.
Now, The Smoking Hearts have set about following up the successes of their first two self-released efforts, "BloodMoney" and "Give Em Hell" by recording a new record. The ballsy and relentless effort is their first full length LP, "Pride Of Nowhere".

"It's refreshing to see a young band like Abadden who plays heads-down old school thrash like Kreator" - KERRANG MAGAZINE
4K's KERRANG!
8/10 "From the fast and ferocious opening, it's clear that these young Bedford punks aren't about to pull any punches. There's more to this demo than just anger and speed though, as the snarling vocals and dirty bass guide the onslaught through a few surprising twists and turns. Track two follows up with a fat portion of Fucked Up-esque rock, and while Gallows undoubtedly have a fair few years left in them, with up-and-comers like this, they'd better watch their step"
