So the fertile welsh alternative scene strikes again with another band laden with melodic hooks aplenty. Another product of the Longwave stable, the crystal clear production gives hints of Movielife and New Found Glory on the 6-track offering.

Opening salvo of 46 second track "xRYx almost died at a foam party" sets the scene for a flying visit through 4 more short and sweet chorus-fests. Despite the strong classic punk DIY ethic they certainly aren't shy when it comes to dropping in a killer harmony.

Best is saved for last as Save Your Breath draft in Aled Phillips of former tour buddies Kids in Glasshouses on album closer "Rhys-O and the legend of big phone" - a track that builds into a contender for most anthemic gang vocal ever.

Expect to see much more of these guys as the better weather approaches... they are potentially the soundtrack to summer 09. Going out on tour in mid-May with countrymen Attack AttackSave Your Breath should very soon be pitching their stall in the pop arena to rub shoulders with the best of them and take the world by storm. And as the lyric states - they are never giving up...
